Do I have to run FLIP

Question

Do I have to run FLIP every time I modify the font library?

Answer

Technically: no. To ensure DCFINDEX and the LISTING report accurately
reflect the contents of the fontlib: yes.

FLIP is the Font Library Index Program shipped with DCF. It reads your
3820, 3800-3 or 4250 font library and creates a file used by Script to find
the appropriate font resources and creates a report of the fonts available
to the users. There is an appendix on FLIP in the Text Programmer's Guide.
