Use this window to create a new Backup/Archive command schedule to the scheduler. Use this window to add descriptive information, to define the Backup/Archive command, and to assign the timing of the schedule operation.:
Schedulename
Type the backup/archive or administrative command schedule name in the Schedule Name field.
Default: *
Example: DAILY_BACKUP admincmd1
Considerations:
Action
Use the Action select box to specify the action which will occur when this backup/archive or immediate client actions schedule is executed.
You can choose only one selection from the list.
Default: Incremental
The settings for Action are:
| Archive | Specifies that you want to archive the files described in the Objects entry field. |
| Command | Specifies that you want to execute a client operating system command described in the Objects entry field. |
| Incremental | Specifies that you want to backup any files that have changed since the last backup and for which the specified time between backups has elapsed. |
| Macro | Specifies that you want to execute a macro whose file name is described in the Objects entry field. |
| Restore | Specifies that you want to restore the files described in the Objects entry field. |
| Retrieve | Specifies that you want to retrieve the files described in the Objects entry field. |
| Selective | Specifies that you want to backup the files described in the Objects entry field. |
Archdelete
Can allow the client user of a node to delete archive files.
The settings for Archdelete are:
| Yes | Allow the client user of a node to delete archive files. |
| No | Do not allow the client user of a node to delete archive files. |
