Version 6, Release 2, Modification 3.100


ATTENTION

This is an interim fix (patch) level 6.2.3.100.
It is intended to provide relief for critical problems where a local circumvention is unavailable.

A limited amount of testing has been done to verify the fixes. Consequently, we strongly recommend that you perform additional testing before putting the package into a production environment.

These fixes will be tested further by IBM Tivoli Storage Management and included in the next maintenance/fix pack level.

Getting started

Before upgrading your version 6.x server, check that DB2 is correctly registered in the Deployment Engine that is used to install the server and its components. In addition, back up your Deployment Engine before and after upgrading the server or any of its components. See Verifying the Deployment Engine for IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Server before upgrading for more information and steps to complete these tasks.

Updates, limitations, and known problems
