Patch Level:

This is a smit/installp installable patch that will install as 
level 5.2.4.3 

The gzip'd tar TSMSRVAIX5243.tar.gz contains the following install packages

   5243D5.bff - tivoli.tsm.devices.aix5.rte
   5243S4.bff - tivoli.tsm.server.rte
   5243S5.bff - tivoli.tsm.server.aix5.rte64
   5243ACS.bff - tivoli.tsm.devices.acsls
   5243COM.bff - tivoli.tsm.server.com
   5243DMG.bff - tivoli.tsm.msg.en_US.devices
   5243SMG.bff - tivoli.tsm.msg.en_US.server
   5243WEB.bff - tivoli.tsm.server.webadmin
   5243WMG.bff - tivoli.tsm.msg.en_US.webhelp

NOTE: This patch only updates the above listed filesets. 

Using:

This patch requires that you have release 5.2.4.0 installed

To "install", as root user, follow these steps:

1. Get (bin) TSMSRVAIX5243.tar.gz 
2. unzip and untar the file to extract all the install packages
3. Halt your server to install the server patch
4. Start SMIT and select the following options
   o Software Install and Maintenance
     o Install and Update Software
       o Install and Update from ALL Available Software
         o Specify INPUT device/directory
           o List SOFTWARE to Install - Select all the filesets 
           o set "COMMIT software updates?" to no 
           o set  "SAVE replaced files?" to yes
5. restart the server.
