Service Level

This is a smit/installp installable patch that will install as 
level 3.7.4.3 for the fileset tivoli.tsm.server.rte42.  

We strongly advise that you install this patch as an UPDATE 
(set "COMMIT software updates?" to no and  "SAVE replaced files?" to yes

Testing has focused on the following items.

DE28877 CLEAN ARCHDIR fails when invoked a second time; when an 
        invalid copy group id is encountered. 

 The CLEAN ARCHDIR utility failed when invoked a second time always on
 MVS and sometimes on AIX.  The utility also failed when an invalid
 copy group id was encountered.  Both problems have been fixed.

IC27651 DSMSERV LOADDB LOOPS WITH 100% CPU UTILIZATION 

 Server hangs at the end of LOADDB processing.  It loads what  
 appears to be all the database entries, and displays the  
 following message:  
 ANR1365I Volume /mnt/r4/backup/60541228.DMP closed (end reached)  
 .  
 Then the CPU utilization goes up to 100% until the process has  
 been killed.  This problem was seen on a TSM 3.7.3 server on Sun  
 Solaris following an UNLOADDB that contained the following  
 errors, but completed:  
 ANR9999D sminit.c(436): SM Failed to Initialize - Time Out.  
 ANR9999D mmsshr.c(287): Timed out waiting for session manager  
 initialization.

IC29245 ERROR SWITCHING TO SIDE B OF OPTICAL AND WORM MEDIA 
  
 This problem affects only two-sided OPTICAL or WORM media when  
 switching to side B.  When backing up or archiving to optical or  
 WORM media and side A fills up, the backup will fail with the  
 following errors:

 ANR8462I End-of-side reached for WORM volume VOL1.  
 ANR9999D asalloc.c(4641): Error 30 accessing volume VOL1(8),  
 side 1.  
 ANR1411W Access mode for volume OW1096 now set to "read-only"  
 due to write error.  
 .  
 A trace of PVR MMS AS shows:  
 .  
 asalloc.c(4634): Side 0 of volume OW1096(8) is now full.  
 Accessing side 1 for write.  
 pvr.c(5706): PVR I/O agent (32) processing ACCESSSIDE request.  
 pvrodsk.c(2596): ODskAccessSide: Requested side = 1  
 mms.c(750): Accessing side B, drive OPTDRV0 (/dev/rmt/1op),  
 library LIB1.  
 pvr.c(6148): PVR I/O agent (32) finished ACCESSSIDE request;  
 rc=30.  
 .  
 This problem was witnessed on a 3.7.3.8 and 3.7.4.0 TSM server  
 for Solaris.  It may affect all TSM 3.7 servers.
