To install, configure and manage 3-Site Orchestrator, the installation must meet several hardware andsoftware requirements.

3-Site Orchestrator Requirements
Consider the following requirements for 3-Site Orchestrator:
• Install Red Hat Enterprise Linux® (RHEL) version 7.5, or later. Then, install 3-Site Orchestrator on anx64-bit architecture server.
• The server must have a minimum of 4 GB of random access memory (RAM) and 4-coremicroprocessors.
• IP network access to all three sites must be available.
• The OpenSSH utility must be installed.
• Passwordless SSH login must be available to all three sites from the 3-Site Orchestrator host.
• The physical location of the host can be at any of the three sites or at a fourth site.

Systems Requirements
Consider the following requirements for the systems:
• All three systems must be running the 8.3.1 release.4  IBM Spectrum Virtualize 3-Site Orchestrator User's Guide
• All three systems must have Fibre Channel remote copy partnerships.

Firewall Requirements
Three firewall ports must be open for events and SSH tunneling. Also, port 7003 must be open.
