PK44122 ======= Problem Description: Document Manager The Document Manager plugin's security certificate expired. Depending on the security settings in Microsoft Internet Explorer, the plugin may not be allowed to be installed or an error message may be seen. Problem Solution: PK44122 contains an updated plugin with an updated security certificate. Affected Users: All portal users. Pre-Requisite(s): Portal Version: 6.0.0.0 Portal Fixes: PK39739 PK40876 Installation (PortalServer): NOTE: YOU MUST FIRST DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE INSTALLER TOOL IN ORDER TO INSTALL A FIX. The Portal Update Installer can be downloaded from the following link: http://www.ibm.com/software/genservers/portal/support (If multiple APARs are installed at one time that require the pdm-portlet configuration task, the task only has to be ran once after the PUI fixes are applied.) 1. Create temporary "fix" directory to store the jar file. 3. Shutdown WebSphere Portal. 4. Follow the fix installation instructions that are packaged with the Portal Update Installer on how to install the fix. 5. Restart WebSphere Portal. 6. Configure the Interim Fix 6a. Navigate to the WPS config directory \config 6b. Execute: UNIX: ./WPSconfig.sh pdm-portlet -DPortalAdminId=[portal admin userid] -DPortalAdminPwd=[portal admin password] Windows: WPSconfig.bat pdm-portlet -DPortalAdminId=[portal admin userid] -DPortalAdminPwd=[portal admin password] i5/OS: WPSconfig.sh -instance[instance ...] pdm-portlet -DPortalAdminId=[portal admin userid] -DPortalAdminPwd=[portal admin password] 7. The temporary directory may be removed. 8. Stop all servers. 9. Restart WebSphere Portal. Uninstall: NOTE: FIXES MUST BE REMOVED IN THE ORDER THEY WERE APPLIED. DO NOT REMOVE A FIX UNLESS ALL FIXES APPLIED AFTER IT HAVE FIRST BEEN REMOVED. YOU MAY REAPPLY ANY REMOVED FIX. 1. Shutdown WebSphere Portal. 2. Backup the file PortalServer\config\templates\SetupPDM.xml 3. Follow the instructions that are packaged with the Portal Update Installer on how to uninstall the fix. 4. Restore the SetupPDM.xml that was backed up to the directory PortalServer\config\templates 5. Restart WebSphere Portal. 6. Deploy pdm.war 6a. Navigate to the WPS config directory \config 6b.
