Problem Description: Webpage is not working in few versions of IE and Mozilla Fire fox browsers which do not support IFrames. Problem Solution: WebPage Portlet was updated to allow IFrames in browsers like IE and mozilla firefox which do not support IFrames. Please note an updated version of the WebPage portlet is required. Enclosed is the updated version of webpage.war. Please use the portal administration user interface to Update the existing version with the enclosed one to install this APAR. Affected Users: All portal users. The Portal Update Installer can be downloaded from the following link: http://www.ibm.com/software/getservers//portal/support Directions to apply Fix: 1) Create temporary "Fix" directory to store the jar file: UNIX: /tmp/WebSphere/Fix Windows: c:\temp\WebSphere\Fix 2) Copy jar file to the directory 3) Shutdown WebSphere Portal 4) Follow the Fix installation instructions that are packaged with the Portal Update Installer on how to install the Fix. 5) Restart WebSphere Portal 6)Go to the config directory of Portal through command prompt, i.e for example wp_root/config (where wp_root is the install directory of portal) 7)Run the script wpsconfig action-update-web-page-portlet -DPortalAdminIdShort=PortaladminId -DPortalAdminPwd=PortalAdminPasswd (Please give the administrator userid and passwd of the Portal in place of PortaladminId and PortalAdminPasswd) 6) The temp directory may be removed. Additional Information: The webpage.war file with the fix would be copied into the installableApps folder of the Portal. Two xml scripts to redeploy the war file would be copied, one into the config/includes folder and other into the config/work folder of the Portal. NOTE: FIXES MUST BE REMOVED IN THE ORDER THEY WERE APPLIED. DO NOT REMOVE A FIX UNLESS ALL FIXES APPLIED AFTER IT HAVE FIRST BEEN REMOVED. YOU MAY REAPPLY ANY REMOVED FIX. 1. Shutdown WebSphere Portal. 2. Follow the instructions that are packaged with the Portal Update Installer on how to uninstall the fix. 3.
