Fix (APAR): PK30928 Status: IFix Release: WebSphere Portal 5.1.0.4 Operating System: Independent Supersedes Fixes: none CMVC defect: 166372/PK30928 Byte size of APAR: 8,353k Date: 09/11/06 Abstract: Fix for problem with url links of the Exchange 2000 Portlets Description/symptom of problem: Click on any of the links (whether it be Mail/Calendar/Notes/Tasks/Contacts portlet) to edit the details.You can see that it instead of showing the details of the url, it is directed to a different url. (for eg: Clicking on a contact to modify the details of the particular contact- You will be directed to a different portal url rather than the details page). NOTE: YOU MUST FIRST DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE INSTALLER TOOL IN ORDER TO INSTALL A FIX. The WebSphere® Portal Update Installer (PUI) can be downloaded from the following link: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=688&uid=swg24006942 *Reminder: the version of PUI used varies based on the version of WebSphere Portal. Ensure the correct version is in use.* 1) Create temporary "fix" directory to store the jar file: Unix™: /fix Microsoft® Windows®: \fix 2) Copy jar file to the directory 3) Shutdown WebSphere Portal 4) Follow the Fix installation instructions that are packaged with the Portal Update Installer on how to install the Fix. 5) Restart WebSphere Portal 6)Go to the config directory of Portal through command prompt, i.e for example wp_root/config (where wp_root is the install directory of portal) 7)Run the script wpsconfig action-update-exchange3-portlet -DPortalAdminIdShort=PortaladminId -DPortalAdminPwd=PortalAdminPasswd.(Please give the administrator userid and passwd of the Portal in place of PortaladminId and PortalAdminPasswd) 6) The temp directory may be removed. Directions to remove a Fix: NOTE: FIXES MUST BE REMOVED IN THE ORDER THEY WERE APPLIED. DO NOT REMOVE A FIX UNLESS ALL FIXES APPLIED AFTER IT HAVE FIRST BEEN REMOVED. YOU MAY REAPPLY ANY REMOVED FIX.
