PREREQUISITE

You must install IBM(R) OmniFind(TM) Discovery Edition Version 8.4 
Fix Pack 4 before installing this test fix. 


INSTALLING THE TEST FIX

1) Stop any processes that are running under the OmniFind Discovery 
Edition Version 8.4 installation directory. 


2) Back up all files in the OmniFind Discovery Edition Version 8.4 
installation directory.


3) Download the IODE_8.4_patch_4_testfix1_sunos.tar file. 


4) Extract the IODE_8.4_patch_4_testfix1_sunos.tar file to the 
OmniFind Discovery Edition Version 8.4 installation directory. 


5) Run OmniFind Discovery Edition. The fix pack is installed automatically. 



PROBLEMS FIXED

This patch contains the following fixes: 

24900 - LifeCare docRepository causes segmentation fault during build on Solaris 9 (APAR IC57925, PMR  17791,999,000 )
