This fix can be installed on IBM WebSphere Voice Server for AIX Version 4.2 - Use with IBM WebSphere Voice Response for AIX This update is for Dutch language only. 2.0 WHAT IS NEW IN THIS Interim Fix The following reported program defects are fixed in this update: o IY49702: Memory consumption issue when using Dutch Language 3.0 INSTALLATION 3.1 Prerequisites o You must have root access to update the IBM WebSphere Voice Server software. o It is assumed the IBM WebSphere Voice Server software is already installed. 3.2 Installation Procedure This fix is delivered in one file: "libScansoftTts.so". 1. Login to the WVS server system as an userid who is a member of group vvt and who has executed vvt.setenv in the current shell. 2. Execute 'pm exit'. 3. Change the effective userid to root ("su"). 4. Execute "slibclean" to remove any unused modules in kernel and library memory. 5. Back up the existing libScansoftTts.so in /usr/opt/vvt/lib. 6. Copy the new libScansoftTts.so to /usr/opt/vvt/lib. 7. Execute "chmod 440 /usr/opt/vvt/lib/libScansoftTts.so". 8. Execute "chown bin:vvt /usr/opt/vvt/lib/libScansoftTts.so". 9. Re-log in as an userid who's a member of group vvt and re-start 'pm'. 4.0 UNINSTALLATION 1.
