1.0 ABOUT THIS README FILE
--------------------------

This README provides information about the patch available in this interim fix.

This fix can be installed on IBM WebSphere RFID Premises Server version 
6.0.0.1.


2.0 INCLUDED IN THIS INTERIM FIX
--------------------------------

The following reported program defects are fixed in this update:

o  IC55493: DuplicateKeyException in the sage.aggregatetagextension table


3.0 INSTALLATION
----------------

3.1 Prerequisites

o  It is assumed the WebSphere RFID Premises Server is already installed.

3.2 Installation Procedure

1.  Unpack the zip file IC55493.zip.
2.  Start WebSphere Application Server. 
3.  Open a Web browser and browse to http://<server_host_name>:9060/admin. 
4.  Log in to the WebSphere Application Server Integrated Solutions Console. 
5.  Go to Applications > Enterprise Applications. 
6.  Check the selection box for Premises_EventServer. 
7.  Click Stop. 
8.  Check the selection box for Premises_EventServer once again. 
9.  Click Update. 
10. From the "Preparing for the application installation" panel:
        o  Select Full application. 
        o  Select Local file system and then click Browse.
        o  Browse and then select the ear file: IBMPremisesEventServer.ear.  
        o  Click Next. 
11. From the "Preparing for the application update" panel, click Next. 
12. From the "Install New Application" panel, you will be guided through the 
    following steps of an installation wizard: 
        a. Click Next. 
        b. Click Next. 
        c. Select the correct CurrentBackendId for your system 
           o  For DB2, select DB2UDBNT_V8_1 
           o  For Oracle, select ORACLE_V9_1 
        d. Click Next.
        e. Click Next. 
        f. Click Next. 
        g. Click Next.
        h. Click Next. 
        i. Click Next. 
        j. Click Next.
           o  If you get an "Application Resource Warnings" message, click 
              Continue. 
        k. Click Next. 
        l. Click Next. 
        m. Click Finish.
13. Wait for the process to complete. 
14. Scroll to bottom of the page, and then click Save to Master Configuration. 
15. From the "Enterprise Applications" panel, click Save. 
16. In the WebSphere Application Server Integrated Solutions Console, go to 
    Applications > Enterprise Applications. 
17. Check the selection box for Premises_EventServer. 
18. Click Start. 
19. Log out of the WebSphere Application Server Integrated Solutions Console.


4.0 UNINSTALLATION
-------------------

To uninstall this interim fix, follow the same installation steps above to 
update application Premises_EventServer but select EAR file
<IBM_RFID_HOME>\premises\servers\IBMPremisesEventServer.ear.
