IBM® WebSphere® Portal Development Community - Demo
Built upon IBM WebSphere Portal, the Portal Development Community provides tightly integrated tools, known as portlets, that facilitate and support development processes and workflow in a development organization. These portlets are organized into four places (categories). The Projects place contains portlets where users can see their to-do items, track project progress, view defects, and monitor the status of their development deliverables. The Content place contains portlets where users can manage, organize, share, and quickly access the documents that they need. The Collaboration place supports integration with the Lotus Notes® and Lotus Sametime® suite of collaboration tools such as Lotus TeamRooms®, discussions, and electronic meetings to facilitate effective and efficient communication, and real-time virtual collaboration. The Support place enables an organization to centralize their documentation and to rapidly integrate their existing support sites and documentation into the portal.
