Cause . . . . . : %1 is the prime record key of a file that is INDEXED organization. %1 must occupy the same character positions in its record as the data item, %2, in the KEY phrase of the SORT/MERGE statement. The KEY phrase of the SORT/MERGE statement will be used in this case for the SORT/MERGE operation.
Recovery . . . : Make sure %1 and %2 occupy the same character positions of their record formats.
