Cause . . . . . : The Key-Length entry (positions 29 - 33) of a File Specification is not valid. The Key-Length entry must be a numeric value in the range of 1 to 2000. If the data type of the key is graphic, the Key-Length entry defaults to 2, otherwise, the Key-Length entry defaults to 1. This entry is required for either an indexed file (File-Organization entry is I in position 35) or a record-address file which contains limits records (File-Designation entry is R in position 18 and File-Organization entry is blank).
Recovery . . . : Correct the Key-Length entry (positions 29 - 33) for the file. Compile again.
