Starting Flow Manager
Perform the following steps to start Flow Manager:
- Click Start > Programs > IBM WebSphere Business Integration Express > Toolset Express > Administrative > Flow Manager.
The Connect to InterChange Server dialog box appears.
- Enter the server name, using any one of the following methods:
- Type the name of the server in the Server Name field.
- Select the server name from the Server Name list.
- Click the browse button to browse for the server on the network.
- Note:
- Browsing for the server on the network could take a long time, depending on
how many servers exist on the network.
- Type the user name and password for the server you want to connect
to. If you select the Remember user name and password check box, the
user name and password will be stored in the registry along with the server
name, and the password will be encrypted. Click Connect.
- Note:
- To remove unwanted users or servers from the registry, click Options.
This opens the Options dialog box, from which you can remove servers or
users.
After you click Connect in the Connect to InterChange Server dialog box, Flow Manager opens. The following figure
shows Flow Manager when it first opens.
