SequeLink is a suite of Type 3 JDBC drivers for Java database connectivity to all of today's major databases. This IBM WebSphere version may be used with Microsoft SQL Server. Also, the WebSphere SequeLink JDBC driver may only be used with WebSphere Application Server.
JAR files for these JDBC drivers are updated automatically when applying service packs to the application server. In most cases you will not need anything from this page. However, in some cases, after applying a service pack, it might be necessary to update the corresponding Microsoft SQL Server-side components.
Select the download from the appropriate table in the Download Package section of this document.
For instructions on how to manually install the Microsoft SQL Server-side components shipped with WebSphere Application Server, please consult the instructions on the CD, DVD, or electronic image containing the DataDirect Technologies products for the application server. Stored Procedures for JTA found on the CD, DVD, or electronic image for the application server are not automically updated when applying a service stream. However, the original files are already compatible with version 3.7. Typically, the original files are sufficient unless a new feature--such as x64 platform support--is needed.
