This fix pack contains fixes for the IBM® WebSphere®
Presence Server, Version 6.2 release.
This fix pack includes fixes for the following APARs:
Fixed a problem where
Presence Server would get into an overloaded state when running
with Watcher Information enabled and working with an
external provider.
Fixed a problem where
Presence Server would receive more than one PUBLISH message at the same time causing
the server to throw an SQL exception that would cause functionality problems. This would
happen when Presence Server worked with external providers.
Fixed a problem where Presence Server would send a subscribe to an outgoing response to the XDMS server without
P-asserted-identity. For security reasons, XDMS would reject such a response
and eventually terminate the subscribe request.
Fixed a problem where Presence Server would not delete a waiting subscription from the database according to the "given up" interval.
Fixed a problem where the default setting for External Sources configuration was missing in the PS SystemConfiguration.xml file.
Fixed a problem where the Presence Server would not verify when a user who sent a watcher info subscribe request was the same user that is in the "To" header or who appeared in the white list.
Fixed Presence server caused by an Oracle database limitation of 4000 characters per entry in a database table.
Fixed Presence Server problems found in the error logs when running more then three days nonstop.
Fixed Presence Server problems found in the error logs when a user subscribed on another user from more then one application at the same time.
Fixed a problem in Presence Server where it would not support adding subscribe headers into notify requests.
Fixed a problem in Presence Server caused when using Oracle database with watcher information enabled. SQL errors were logged when sending subscribe requests without a display name.
Fixed a problem where Presence Server would receive a subscribe request on a user. Afterwards, Presence Server would receive another subscribe request on a group that included the same user, but the URI of the user had a different case. The notify for the second subscribe had the URI case of the first Subscribe.
