Fix (APAR): PK51326 Status: Fix Release: 6.1 Operating System: AIX,HP-UX,Linux,Solaris,Windows,z/OS Supersedes Fixes: CMVC Defect: PK51326 Byte size of APAR: 7653 Date: 2007-10-12 Abstract: Internet Inter-ORB Protocol (IIOP) metrics not showing up in visualization panel. Description/symptom of problem: PK51326 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION: Running a client transactions from a generic EJB thin client against a WebSphere Dynamic cluster having a simple session EJB deployed in it. Unable to view the visualization metrics on the Admin Console. LOCAL FIX: None PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere Application Server also running WebSphere Extended Deployment. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Internet Inter-ORB Protocol (IIOP) metrics not showing up in visualization panel. RECOMMENDATION: None Internet Inter-ORB Protocol (IIOP) metrics not showing up in visualization panel. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: If your J2EE client application is being launched from other than the WebSphere launchClient utility, you will need to install PK51326 and PK51977. Without these two APARs, IIOP metrics will not be displayed in the visualization panels. If you do not need IIOP visualization metrics, you do not need either of these two APARs. If your J2EE client launcher is not Work Load Manager (WLM) enabled, you do not need PK51326 and PK51977 because nonWLM enabled clients can never produce IIOP visualization metrics. The fix will be included in Service Pack 6.1.0.1 for WebSphere Extended Deployment.
