This fix changes the way the WSDL2Java emitter in version 6 works to allow for these large files to process. . This is the same problem as is described in PK17152 for WAS 5.1.1.x. There is a fix for this problem in WAS 6.0.2.11. LOCAL FIX: Divide up WSDL to make it smaller. PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server version 6.x users of Web Services PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Very large WSDL files can cause generated WSDL2Java files to throw "code too large" errors RECOMMENDATION: None Very large WSDL files cause WSDL2Java to generate java files that contain large static initializer blocks, which causes a "code too large" error upon compilation. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: WSDL2Java now generates files with rearranged code to prevent the "code too large" error. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in cumulative fix 6.0.2.15 and 6.1.0.6.
