Fix (APAR): JR32787 Status: Fix Release: 6.2.0.1,6.2 Operating System: Windows Supersedes Fixes: CMVC Defect: JR32787 Byte size of APAR: 23210 Date: 2009-06-28 Abstract: Custom parsing of an XML message received from MQ may throw an exception because the case of the root element gets changed Description/symptom of problem: JR32787 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION: When the message is sent through the JMS binding to SIBus that is connected with MQ bus through the link, the message that comes to the MQ queue contains the elements in incorrect case (other than defined in the XSD schema of this BO). LOCAL FIX: n/a PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: Users who migrated from WebSphere Process Server version 6.0.2 to version 6.2.0 and if they have a custom parser written to parse XML message received from MQ in an async scenario. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Custom parsing of an XML message received from MQ may throw an exception because the case of the root element gets changed RECOMMENDATION: None EMF lowers the first character of the root element which may cause custom parsing to fail. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: A different EMF api is invoked now which returns the name in appropriate case. Directions to apply fix: Download and follow Update Installer installation instructions.
