Description/symptom of problem: JR31816 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION:? Custom transformation inside BO Map. When using a variable it is always initialized to "null" string value rather than null. We have an interface map which in turn calls a BO map. Inside the BO map, we define a local variable of type string. Then we tried to print the value stored in the variable, and also the length of it. It turned out that the variable has value "null" and length 4 LOCAL FIX:? Programmatically set the String variable to null. PROBLEM SUMMARY:? USERS AFFECTED: Webpshere Process Server v6.1.2 BO Mapper users who make use of the temporary variables in their maps, PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Temporary variables of type String are incorrectly initialized to a value of 'null'. RECOMMENDATION: None The code in BO Mapper code generator incorrectly assigns the value to the temporary variable of type String. PROBLEM CONCLUSION:?
