USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Process Server V6.2.0 users installing modules and application with names that have double-byte character set (DBCS). PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The T.Chinese Business Calendar can not be published. NullPointerException occurs during application start. RECOMMENDATION: None The module and application name values are stored in a file that was not correctly encoding the characters. When the file was attempted to read, the characters were not recognized. The problem was fixed by explictly setting the encoding of the file to UTF-8 when it is created and the module and application names, which may contain DBCS characters are stored in the file.
