APAR is needed to limit the amount of references that are cached. LOCAL FIX:? none, restart required to clear cache. PROBLEM SUMMARY:? USERS AFFECTED: Websphere Process Server 6.0.2.x customers PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Potential memory leak observed when using interface maps and running the transactions on load. RECOMMENDATION: None For better performance the process server engine relies on a caching mechanism to cache the recently invoked services, as a fresh locate of service can be performance intensive. Upon load multiple references are being cached resulting in a increased java heap size PROBLEM CONCLUSION:? The problem is resolved by having a limit on the number of references that are cached. Using this fix will bring about 40% efficiceny in the memory usage. Directions to apply fix: Download and follow Update Installer installation instructions.
