Description/symptom of problem: JR29787 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION:? If the cobol copy book has the same type name, WPS will generate the incorrect result when the data is retrive from CICS server. LOCAL FIX:? Rename the duplicate type name in the cobol copy book. PROBLEM SUMMARY:? USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Process Server and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus 6.0.2.3, 6.0.2.4, 6.1, 6.1.0.1, 6.1.0.2 and 6.1.2 users. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If the cobol copy book has the same type name, WebSphere Process Server will generate the incorrect result when the data is retrieved from CICS server. RECOMMENDATION: None When there are duplicate types in cobol copy book, the EIS data binding is not able to resolves the types resulting in incorrect and missing data interpretation in WPS . PROBLEM CONCLUSION:? Applying this interim fix will resolve the problem. Directions to apply fix: Download and follow Update Installer installation instructions.
