Description/symptom of problem: JR29554 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION:? CBEBrowswer install failed during profile creation LOCAL FIX:? None PROBLEM SUMMARY:? USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Process Server v6.1.0.1 users who moved to WebSphere Application Server v6.1.0.17 from v6.1.0.15. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Getting INSTCONFPARTIALSUCCESS for profile creation which errors occurred while executing installCBEBrowser.ant. RECOMMENDATION: None Due to the changes made in cbebroswer.ear to comply the change in system application style, the previously required and existing file, deployment.xml from profiles created on Websphere Process Server v6.1.0.0 is no longer needed, and conflicts the changes added to cbebrowswer.ear. Error occurs when they coexist in the system. PROBLEM CONCLUSION:? iFix fixes this problem by having the cbebrowserAppUpgrade.jacl run through all existing profiles and uninstall the older style cbebrowser before reinstalling the new style cbebrowser to make sure deployment.xml no longer exists. The fix for this APAR is also included in WebSphere Process Server v6.1.0.2. Directions to apply fix: Download and follow Update Installer installation instructions.
