The performance degradation is about 15%, bo Description/symptom of problem: JR29120 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION: Performance is impacted by unnecessary CPU cycles LOCAL FIX: None PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Process Server and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus v6.1.0.1 users PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The message processing capability of WebSphere Process Server mediation is found to have decreased when compared with previous release. The performance degradation is about 15%, both in terms of processing speed and the maximum message size allowed. RECOMMENDATION: None The issue is due to extra debug trace added by the developer during development phase. The debug trace has been hard coded, and cannot be disabled by adjusting Service Component Architecture (SCA) trace level. Neither was the debug code removed prior to code check-in. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: The error is corrected by removing the debug trace code. It have no negative impact on WPS problem diagnostic as the same information is logged elsewhere in the system when the Service Component Architecture (SCA) trace is enabled.
