Fix (APAR): JR28808 Status: Fix Release: 6.1.0.1,6.1 Operating System: AIX,HP-UX,i5/OS,Linux,Solaris,Windows Supersedes Fixes: CMVC Defect: JR28808 Byte size of APAR: 15704 Date: 2008-04-21 Abstract: When a user creates a selector and specifies an import with a webservice binding (soap/http or soap/jms) as default component in the selector, a JAXRPCException is raised during te Description/symptom of problem: JR28808 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION: A simple selector application is created in 6.1.0. Application contains two modules and one library. One module contains the webservice exports. The other one has selector which should invoke one of the two service imports based on date. But the selector always fails with JAXRPCException. LOCAL FIX: Recreated the Secnario, giving the same JAXRPC Exception. Then tried calling the webservice imports through a Java component(POJO) instead of calling directly from selector, it works fine. PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Process Server 6.1.0.x users. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When a user creates a selector and specifies an import with a webservice binding (soap/http or soap/jms) as default component in the selector, a JAXRPCException is raised during test the selector component. RECOMMENDATION: None The error is due to a wrong internal EndpointReference is created. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: Apply the interim fix to resolve the problem.
