Description/symptom of problem: JR28257 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION: resubmission of failed event feature with simple type data passing in does not work LOCAL FIX: NONE PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Process Server v6.1 Users PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Resubmission of failed event using the failed event manager with modified simple type data may not work. RECOMMENDATION: None Because of an internal glitch in the Service Component Architecture (SCA) message processing runtime, the updated values of a failed event through the Failed Event Manager console were lost and reverted back to the old value. As a result, resubmitting the failed event would cause the same behavior as the original message as if no data updated in the Failed Event Manager. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fixpack 6.1.0.1. Directions to apply fix: Download and follow Update Installer installation instructions. The Update Installer can be downloaded from the following link: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg21205991 1) Copy the pak file to the directory maintenance in the UpdateInstaller directory 2) Shutdown WebSphere Process Server.
