Description/symptom of problem: JR26579 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION: The customer has defined a response expiration qualifier and gets a NullPointerException if the defined expiration time is exceeded instead of the expected behaviour that the process just expires. A BOTP defect is already open (#419851). LOCAL FIX: N/A PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: Websphere Process Server 6.0.2 and 6.0.2.1 customer s using response/request QOS PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: WID/WPS 6.0.2: Nullpointer Exception when using Request or Respons e Timeouts on SCA Messages. RECOMMENDATION: None The timeWaited is only set if response qos is specified in SCDL. But timeWaited value is needed when request qos is use. Thus if you have a scenario that only request qos is set, but no response qos, you will run into the NPE.
