Documentation

The WebSphere Commerce Library page contains any updates that have been made to the online help and installation guide. Also available is additional product information not shipped on the CD.

Installation

During installation, when prompted to insert the software CD, the CD-ROM drive may not be located after clicking Browse. Type the drive letter to continue the installation.

National language files

This release of WebSphere Commerce - Express is English only. However, certain beta national language files have been shipped in this release. The national language files are part of the group 1 languages:

Official national language files will be available when the national language versions become generally available.

Registry information

After uninstalling WebSphere Commerce - Express Developer Edition, the following text, "IBM commerce-express developer edition", was not removed from the registry. This does not impact a new installation. To clean the registry, do the following:

  1. Go to Start > Run, and from the Open field, type regedit and click OK.
  2. Open the following registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MenuOrder\Start Menu\Programs.
  3. Look for the "IBM WebSphere Commerce - Express Developer Edition" key and delete it from the Windows Registry.
