To change the product image or the location of the image, do the following:
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
From the Merchandise menu, click Find Catalog Entries.
From the Products menu, click Find Catalog Entries.
The Catalog Entry Search page displays. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.- Find the product you want to change.
- Use one of the following methods to change the product image or location:
- Change Product notebook:
- Select a field in the product row that you want to change, and from the Actions menu, click Change Product. The Change Product notebook opens.
- From the left navigation frame, click Images. The Images page
displays. You can change the following information:
- To change the full size or large product image, in the Full size image
file and location field, type the changed path to the image, including the
image name:

\WC_Enterprise_App_instance_name.ear\wcstores.war\ storedir\images\leathercoat_full.gif
- To change the thumbnail or small product image, in the Thumbnail image
file and location field, type the changed path to the image, including the
image name:
/WC_Enterprise_App_instance_name.ear/wcstores.war/ storedir/images/leathercoat_thumb.gif
\WC_Enterprise_App_instance_name.ear\wcstores.war\ storedir\images\leathercoat_thumb.gif
- where storedir is the name of the store directory in which your store is located.
- All product image files should be placed in the store's defined image directory. The correct image directory and whether you need an absolute or relative path depends on your store's configuration. Ask a store developer with Site Administrator authority for the correct image directory. For example, the WebSphere Commerce sample store images use a relative path to the default installation path.
- To change the full size or large product image, in the Full size image
file and location field, type the changed path to the image, including the
image name:
- Click OK to save the changes and close the notebook.
- Product Management dynamic table:
- Click the Images tab. You can change the following information:
- To change the thumbnail or small product image, in the Thumbnail
field, type the changed path to the image, including the image name:

- To view the current images associated with the product, click Show Images from the Edit menu. The images are displayed in the dynamic table.
- Click the Images tab. You can change the following information:

Notes:
- The product images are language specific; that is, if the product is
offered at a French store and a Japanese store, and you want to change its
images or image locations for both stores, you must provide the new information
for each store. To work in another language, click the
icon, found in the upper left corner.
- You can switch to a different language only if you are authorized to work with more than one of the WebSphere Commerce supported languages and if the language is available.
- If the changes to the catalog data do not display, the Site Administrator may need to disable caching or remove the currently cached JSP pages.
