Changing the SKU image

To change the SKU image or the location of the image, do the following:

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
  2. Business to consumer From the Merchandise menu, click Find Catalog Entries.
    Business to business From the Products menu, click Find Catalog Entries.
    The Catalog Entry Search page displays. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.
  3. Find the product containing the SKU you want to change.
  4. Select a field in the product row containing the SKU you want to change, and from the Actions menu, click Show SKUs.
  5. Use one of the following methods to change the SKU image or location:
    1. Change SKU notebook:
      1. Select a field in the SKU row that you want to change, and from the Actions menu, click Change SKU. The Change SKU notebook opens.
      2. From the left navigation frame, click Images. The Images page displays. You can change the following information:
        • To change the full size or large SKU image, in the Full size image file and location field, type the changed path to the image, including the image name:

        • To change the thumbnail or small SKU image, in the Thumbnail image file and location field, type the changed path to the image, including the image name:

        • where storedir is the name of the store directory in which your store is located.
        • All SKU image files should be placed in the store's defined image directory. The correct image directory and whether you need an absolute or relative path depends on your store's configuration. Ask a store developer with Site Administrator authority for the correct image directory. For example, the WebSphere Commerce sample store images use a relative path to the default installation path.
      3. Click OK to save the changes and close the notebook.
    2. Product Management dynamic table:
      1. Click the Images tab. You can change the following information:
        • To change the thumbnail or small SKU image, in the Thumbnail field, type the changed path to the image, including the image name:

      2. Click Save.
      3. To view the current images associated with the SKU, click Show Images from the Edit menu. The images are displayed in the dynamic table.
