Starting and stopping WebSphere Commerce Payments in the WebSphere Commerce development environment

To start WebSphere Commerce Payments in the WebSphere Commerce development environment, do the following:

  1. (Optional) Check if the WebSphere Commerce Payments instance password is required.

    By default, the WebSphere Commerce Payments instance created during the installation of the WebSphere Commerce development environment does not require the WebSphere Commerce Payments instance password.

    You should check if the WebSphere Commerce Payments instance password is required if you are unsure of the setting.

  2. Start the WebSphere Commerce Payments application server in the WebSphere test environment.
  3. If the WebSphere Commerce Payments instance password is required, issue the IBMPayServer command.

To stop WebSphere Commerce Payments in the WebSphere Commerce development environment, do the following:

  1. (Optional) Check if the WebSphere Commerce Payments instance password is required.

    You should check if the WebSphere Commerce Payments instance password is required if you are unsure of the setting.

  2. If the WebSphere Commerce Payments instance password is required, issue the StopIBMPayServer command.
  3. Stop the WebSphere Commerce Payments application server in the WebSphere test environment.
