Local Installation notes for IBM InfoSphere™ Classic Data Architect Version 11.3.1

The following information describes local installation instructions for installing Classic Data Architect (CDA) Version 11.3.1 from a zip file.

  1. Download the Windows zip file from http://public.dhe.ibm.com/software/websphere/cda/113/1131/zips/CDA_v11.3_1074_Windows
    2. Download the Linux zip file from http://public.dhe.ibm.com/software/websphere/cda/113/1131/zips/CDA_v11.3_1074_Linux
  2. Unzip the installation package to a temporary directory such as C:\temp\cdav113.
  3. From the command line, change to the temporary directory and take one of the following actions:
    4. On Windows: Run install.exe
    On Linux: Run install
  4. Proceed through the Installation Manager wizard.
  5. When the install is complete you can launch the product:
    6. From Windows: Start > Programs > IBM Classic Data Architect > IBM InfoSphere Classic Data Architect V11.3.
     Alternatively, from a command line run <installRoot>/eclipse.exe.
    From Linux: Applications > IBM Classic Data Architect > IBM InfoSphere Classic Data Architect V11.3.
    Alternatively, from a command line run <installRoot>/eclipse.
  6. From the Help menu select the About... option and you should see that version 11.3.1 is installed.
