Abstract:  Liberty server command not working on IBM i platform after installing fixpack 22.0.0.2

Description/symptom of problem:  
PH44064 resolves the following problem:

ERROR DESCRIPTION:
This APAR only applies to Liberty servers at fixpack level      
22.0.0.2 running on the IBM i platform.                         
                                                                
The Liberty server command is an important command used to      
create and control Liberty servers.  At Liberty fixpack         
level 22.0.0.2, the server command was modified to use a        
script syntax that does not work in QSHELL (QSH).  This         
causes the Liberty server command to fail when used in QSH      
or when using the HTTP Admin interface to work with Liberty     
servers on the IBM i platform.                                  
                                                                
At Liberty 22.0.0.2, if the server command is used, with or     
without any parameters, an error will occur similar to:         
server: 001-0050 Syntax error on line 1339: token "!" not       
expected.                                                       
                                                                
Again, this APAR only affects Liberty servers at fixpack        
level 22.0.0.2 running on the IBM i platform.

This APAR only applies to Liberty servers at Liberty fixpack
level 22.0.0.2 running on the IBM i platform.

The Liberty server command is an important command used to
create and control Liberty servers.  At Liberty fixpack level
22.0.0.2, the server command was modified to use a script syntax
that does not work in QSHELL (QSH).  This causes the Liberty
server command to fail when used in QSH or when using the HTTP
Admin interface to work with Liberty servers on the IBM i
platform.

At Liberty 22.0.0.2, if the server command is used, with or

PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
The Liberty server command script syntax will be corrected to   
work properly inside of the QSH environment.

Install Fix to all WebSphere installations unless special instructions are included below.

The user must:
* Logged in with the same authority level when unpacking a fix, fix pack or refresh pack.
* Be at V1.9.0 or newer of the Installation Manager. Certain iFixes may require a newer version of the Installation Manager and the Installation Manager will inform you during the installation process if a newer version is required.

The IBM Information Center can provide details, if needed, on the use of the Installation Manager to apply the iFixes.
