Validating feature: com.ibm.websphere.appclient.client-1.0... FAIL! [ERROR] Content: lib/com.ibm.ws.kernel.boot_1.0.56.jar is either changed or broken. Validating feature: com.ibm.websphere.appserver.kernel-1.0... FAIL! [ERROR] Content: lib/com.ibm.ws.kernel.boot.archive_1.0.56.jar is either changed or broken. [ERROR] Content: lib/com.ibm.ws.kernel.boot_1.0.56.jar is either changed or broken. Product validation was complete, and found 3 error(s). LOCAL FIX: Use installUtility instead of featureManager. PROBLEM SUMMARY: USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty - Liberty Archive Install PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Product validation fails when iFix is applied with FeatureManager/FeatureUtility RECOMMENDATION: None When the iFix is applied, featureManager install command and featureUtility installFeature/installServerFeatures command fails at product validation stage. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: When the iFix is applied, the installation directory was not getting set properly which caused the error for retrieving the checksums of the iFix jar files. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 22.0.0.1.
