1. Download the following jar file: xml.jar

2. Backup <WebSphere directory>/java/jre/lib/xml.jar and replace it with new xml.jar file.
     On Windows, the path is  <WebSphere directory>\java\jre\lib\xml.jar

3. Verify that this jar is being picked up by issuing the command      

     On Unix,
         <WebSphere directory>/java/bin/java org.apache.xalan.xslt.EnvironmentCheck                   

     On Windows,
      <WebSphere directory>\java\bin\java org.apache.xalan.xslt.EnvironmentCheck                  


      This will print out several lines of version information.
      Please make sure that there is an entry for  
        version.xalan2x=XSLT4J Java 2.6.3
