* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The problem is due to the EPM/PMI *
* mapping layer, which did *
* not check all the NPE cases. *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
When running 4.0 PmiClient to get EPM data in 3.5.6 server,
get NPE if the PerfDescriptor does not map to any EPM group
or when stop/restart appserver. One of the side effects is
causing a very high CPU load and creating EpmService in a
dead loop. This fix will update EpmMapper.class and
CollectorEPM.class.
Problem conclusion
The fix checks all the possible NPE situations and
handles them correctly. With the fix, a user who runs PmiClient
with 3.5.5+ appserver should not see NPE exception.
