The error message indicates the user registry failed to initialize. Enabling security using the Local OS User Registry is not supported when the user ID the process is running as is not root (or Administrator). Since security is not enabled, the message does not indicate any functional loss.Problem conclusion Temporary fix Comments This issue has been fixed in WebSphere Application Server 5.0. The issue does not cause any functional loss and there is significant risk and effort in resolving it in 4.X.
