Error description There is a need to be able to load the XML config file dynamically when it is not included in the performance modules.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: IBM products that are installed on top of * * WebSphere Application Server and add new * * module(s) for PMI instrumentation. Example * * products include Portal Server and Commerce * * Suite. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When the product adds a new PMI module, * * Resource Analyzer(RA) cannot display * * the PMI data because its module name is * * not included in the PerfModules.java. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** A bug in PmiClient.java failed to dynamically load the xml file for the new PMI module. Therefore, PMI/RA failed to read the config information and display the data.Problem conclusion With the fix, as long as the new xml file and related new PMI module class are on the classpath, PMI/RA should be able to load it and display the related PMI data.Temporary fix Comments
