APAR status Closed as program error. Error description Attn: Mary R. Ming C. has already dropped code for this problem, BUT there was no APAR open for it. Please accpe this APAR.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server users of EJB * * and EJB client in a same application server * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Can't load class when * * com.ibm.ws.classloader.classSharing * * is set to false. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** In a case where a servlet in one enterprise application can't call another enterprise application's ejb while all of these enterprise applications are residing on a same WebSphere application server.Problem conclusion This is more related to the classloading issue. Since enterprise applications doesn't share a same classloader in a WebSphere application server, a new ORB property named com.ibm.CORBA.notLocal is being introduced to work around this issue. By setting this property to true, this will cause two different enterprise applications to run as remote to one another, although they are deployed in a same WebSphere application server.Temporary fix Comments
