Resource Analyzer does not display performance data for remote V4 server
 Technote (FAQ)

Problem
When running the WebSphere® Application Server V4 Resource Analyzer to monitor performance data on a remote WebSphere Application Server, the performance data is not displayed. The following exception is issued and can be seen in the Resource Analyzer trace:

java.rmi.MarshalException: CORBA MARSHAL 0 No; nested exception is:
org.omg.CORBA.MARSHAL: Unable to read value from underlying bridge

Cause
The problem occurs when there are different JDK™ levels on the two systems. The system on which the Resource Analyzer is run and the system on which the application server is running should be at the same WebSphere fix pack level.

Solution
To resolve the problem, install the latest WebSphere Application Server fix pack, currently Fix Pack 7 (4.0.7) on both systems.
