PQ65298: UPDATES TO CMP FIELDS MADE IN EJBPOSTCREATE METHOD LOST AFTER A TRANSACTION COMMIT

Error description
In a CMP EJB, if updates to fields is made in ejbPostCreate
method, updates get lost after transaction commit.
(This is CMVC Defect 142250)
Local fix
Do not update fields in ejbPostCreate() method.
Problem summary

Changes to any field within an EJB's ejbPostCreate() method
are not being persisted to the data store.  No errors or
exceptions are being logged.  This happens because the
currently being written to the data store following
the completion of the ejbCreate() method.  So changes made
within ejbPostCreate() will be ignored.
Problem conclusion Temporary fix Comments
This APAR is being closed FIN with concurrence from the
submitting customer.  This means that a fix to this APAR is
expected to be delivered from IBM in a release which is being
developed at the time that the APAR is closed.

time this APAR was closed was:
