Error description
When creating WSAS data source for Microsoft SQL Server using
SequeLink JDBC, WebSphere embedded Connect JDBC, DataDirect
Connect JDBC or Microsoft SQL Server 2000 JDBC drivers, the
custom property "databaseName" is required. The "databaseName"
should be an optional attribute (it is optional for these
above JDBC Drivers).
.
With the "databaseName" marked as required property, customer
is forced to enter the value for the database name. This takes
away the flexibility of using the default database name
associated with the userid which is used to logon to SQL Server.
For customers who have many databases on SQL Server instance,
they have to create one data source per the database. This
increases overhead (e.g. maintenance of the data sources,
potentially more memory for the JVM, etc).
