Error description Problem when installation program is run on non-supported installation locale (Chinese chosen as default)Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All WebSphere Application Server 4.0 Single * * and Advanced editions users using the gui * * to install on an unsupported OS locale. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Chinese is chosen as the default * * language when installing WAS on an * * unsupported OS locale (ie: Hebrew). * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** When using the gui install of WAS on an unsupported locale, Chinese is chosen as the default language to install when it should be English. **************************************************************** This problem has been addressed in the next release by not allowing an install on an unsupported locale.
