APAR status Closed as program error. Error description SQL0913N occurs when the adminserver tries to use the AS/400 repository.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server installations * * having a DB2 repository on a remote AS/400 * * ( iSeries ) machine * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Table lock errors occur when starting * * WebSphere admin server using DB2 for * * AS/400 or iSeries as repository. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The file wait and record wait time for files in DB2 for Windows is by default set to 'wait forever'. On the iSeries these values by default at file creation or SQL Table creation time are set to *IMMED and 60 seconds respectively. This can cause problems when isolation levels require restrictive file and record locking and multiple concurrent request are made of the same file resource.Problem conclusion To solve this problem WebSphere connection manager will call an SQL stored procedure to set both the file wait and record wait times to 32767 seconds when the repository tables are created.Temporary fix Comments
