APAR status Closed as duplicate of another APAR. Error description Add "warning" level trace statements to the HTTP plugin to detail reasons plugin generated a 500 return code. This will help in the servicability of our product.Local fix Problem summary Problem conclusion Temporary fix Comments This APAR was opened as a serviceablity defect, the user wanted a clear trace message that would let the troubleshooter know that a 500 error occurred. The 500 error was a strange case, in that it is not an error code that is usually returned explicitly, so you would not see a message that said "HTTP return code = 500". More likely, you would see an errormessage logged, without a clear indication if that meant the request would be a 500, or some other condition. This logging deficiency has since been taken care of in passing by another APAR, PQ74206, and is now in the WebSphere 4.0 and 5.0 code base.
