APAR status Closed as returned (APAR cannot be resolved without additional info from IBM or customer.) Error description When using a remote admin console that is connected to a admin server that is local to the machine that the application is to be installed on, the final screen informs the user that the file is local to the install node and will be expanded in the installedApps directory. This however does not occur. The application is visible in the console, but will not run properly because the code has not be expanded into the proper directory. The error "CNTR0020E" appears when trying to start or access info on the installed application, this basically says that the files were not found. Summary: Customer receives positive feedback that the install was successful, without being told that there is another step (EARexpander) before the application is fully installed. This is a false positive. CMVC Defect now points to PMR 90772,519Local fix Manually expand the ear file in the installedApps directory.Problem summary Problem conclusion Temporary fix Comments The pmr was closed since the assoicated pmr 90772 was closed. The requested trace was never received for this problem. (adminserver trace with com.ibm.ejs.sm.*=all=enabled)
