Problem |
During WebSphere® Application Server v4.0
startup, the following error appears in the log:
CONM7002W: Could not find the property Initialized on class
COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.DB2ConnectionPoolDataSource"? |
|
Cause |
All data source properties are properly
initialized with correct values. The problem generally occurs only when
DB2® OS/390® is used as the WebSphere repository database.
This warning is caused by the presence of the
following property in the admin.config file:
com.ibm.ejs.sm.adminServer.dbInitialized=nocreate |
|
Solution |
Remove the following line from
the admin.config file:
|
com.ibm.ejs.sm.adminServer.dbInitialized=nocreate |
This property was used for this configuration in
WebSphere Application Server v3.5. However, in releases of WebSphere
Application Server v4, any property of the following pattern has a
different meaning:
|
com.ibm.ejs.sm.adminServer.dbXXXXXX |
where:
XXXXXX means "set the
XXXXXX property on the database driver"
This is used for things such as user, password,
databaseName, and other properties that must be passed on the database
driver itself. This is why the warning states that the Initialized property is
unsupported by the database driver.
The dbInitialized property in v3.5 has been replaced
by the following property in WebSphere Application Server v4.0:
|
com.ibm.ejs.sm.adminServer.createTables |
This property is also set in the
admin.config file, and should be set to
false when the
repository database is DB2 OS/390. |
