Error description NullPointerException in cache monitor when viewing contents and simultaneously loading 2 or more uncompiled cacheable JSP's that include a common uncompiled JSP.Local fix no work aroundProblem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of WebSphere Application Server * * Dynamic Caching * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: NullPointerException in cache monitor * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** While using the Dynamic Caching ( dynacache ) Cache Monitor application, is it possible to try and view information for a cache entry that is in the process of being invalidated. This condition would result in a NullPointerException within the Cache Monitor's JSP.Problem conclusion Updated ServletCacheMonitor.ear to fix this problem. The fix was to check for this condition prior to displaying the specific cache entry and to not display the entry if is being invalidated. This will prevent the exception.Temporary fix Test fix sent to customer.Comments
