APAR status Closed as program error. Error description Customer states that primary issues is the HTTP server side logs are filling up with the common sysmgmt_queue_for_uri RC = 9 erro This error will be thrown for any URI not intended for WebSphere Customer has a work around that involves shutting down the IHS HTTP process, clearing out the logs, and restarting IHS. Customer will implement work around until mid - next week Need to change the logging level of this statement. This is reported at the Error level when it should really be at the inform level.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All Websphere Application Server users * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Customer logs are filling up with the * * errors: * * Error - sysmgmt_queue_for_uri : * * Error returned from * * sysmgmt_vhost_for_aliasport rc=9 * * Error - sysmgmt_is_servlet_uri : * * failure in sysmgmt_queue_for_uri * * rc=9 * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** - Error - sysmgmt_queue_for_uri : Error returned from sysmgmt_vhost_for_aliasport rc=9 - Error - sysmgmt_is_servlet_uri : failure in sysmgmt_queue_for_uri rc=9 These errors occur whenever a hostname passed in on an HTTP Request is not found in the vhost.properties file. While they are valid messages they should be logged at the INFORM level not the ERROR level.Problem conclusion Changed the logging level for the reported errors from ERROR to INFORM. This will not resolve the root cause of the problem (which is a configuration issue) but it will prevent the logs from filling up with the sysmgmt_queue_for_uri errors.Temporary fix Comments
