PQ68219, 4.0.2, 4.0.3, 4.0.4, 4.0.5: PMICache causes security failure w/PMIClien
 Downloadable files

Abstract
PMIClient code cache invocation credentials causes security failure when creating PMIClient objects in multiple WAS domains.

Download Description
USERS AFFECTED:
WebSphere Application Server users of PMI

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When running the PMIClient in multiple WebSphere domains, security authentication fails

PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
The DataCache used by the PMIClient cached all the nodes in multiple WebSphere domains. Security authentication failed in multiple domains because PMI attempted to talk to nodes in
a different domain.
DataCache will not cache nodes in other WebSphere domains. Therefore, each PMIClient object will only communicate with the nodes in the domain in which it is connected.
