Error description
After starting WebSphere on a solaris box the nanny process
dies for no reason. There are no errors in any of the logs and
doing a truss trace (Sun OS trace) it states that the nanny
volunteered to stop. Note that WebSphere does start-up and runs
fine until the admin server crashes and the nanny process is
suppost to restart it.

This problem occurs on Solaris systems only. The symptom, as
reported in this APAR was Nanny Process terminates with no
apparent cause. The admin server process (which was launched
by the Nanny Process) continues to run normally.
Problem conclusion
This problem was caused by failing to use the "-mt" option
during compilation of the native code modules that make up
the libWsProcessManagement.so library. Although this
particular case reported that the Nanny Process stopped, it is
possible that other symptoms could result.
