![]() APAR status Closed as program error. Error description DataSource name is set as jdbc/FooDataSource . This is most apparent when using Resource Analyzer. When looking at DataSources, they are not listed by the name given in the DataSource panel; rather, they are listed by the JDNI name, which is typically jdbc/FooDataSource. This occurred in 4.0.2 but not in 4.0.1. . This can be seen by doing a dumpnamespace -report long. A name "SampleDataSource".Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server Advanced * * Edition 4.02 users * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Users viewing resource analyser see * * the JNDI name of the datasource * * instead of the datasource name. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Admin Server was storing the JNDI name into the namespace instead of the datasource name.Problem conclusion Modified admin server code to store correct value in the namespace. Also wrote script to fix existing datasources which can be used by customers upgrading to 4.02.Temporary fix Comments
