![]() APAR status Closed as program error. Error description When Proxy firewall is used between the WebServer and AppServer Proxy Firewall is accepting plugin connections and therefore the plugin was not failing over once the connection was closed when appserver was in fact down.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server users of the * * webserver plugins version prior to 4.0.5 * * with proxy firewalls. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Failover was not working correctly in * * versions prior to 4.0.5 with proxy * * firewalls. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The plugin would not mark the app server down when the read of the app server response after the connect fails. It would only mark the app server down if the connect failed.Problem conclusion The plugin now marks the app server down when the read fails rather than only marking the app server down when the connect fails.Temporary fix Comments
