PK00478: RESOLVE HOSTNAME IF ORB RETURNS HOST (IP) ADRRESS ON ORB.GETHOSTNAME()

APAR status
Closed as program error.

Error description
Error description: WLM prefer local routing is not working for a
client. The reason the
WLM prefer local is not working properly is that the WLM code
requires that the ORB.getLocalHost()
return the physical host name of a machine, not the IP address,
to determine if a client is on
the same host as a "local" server (or servers). In this case the
IP address is returned, breaking
WLM prefer local routing

ORB.getHostName() can return IP address, not physical
host name, breaking WLM's prefer local routing
Problem conclusion
Added logic to, when/if the ORB.getHostName(), returns an
IP address, to resolve that IP address into the host name
in order that WLM's prefer local routing works properly
