APAR status Closed as program error. Error description Logging on w/non-root userID tracefile, get the following error: ActiveServerP W Failed to start the server: "Default Server" com .ibm.ejs.sm.util.process.exception.InvalidGroupException: Error creating new process. 001: Not owner Keywords: non-root, Solaris, WebSphere InvalidGroupExceptionLocal fix Tried setting the UserID and GroupID to something different in WAS AppServer(s), but still failed. This will be checked in the admin console when the setting is attempted to validate it is an acceptable setting and if not - throw back an message to the user explaining why.Temporary fix Comments
