* USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server Version 4 users *
* of the IBM Http Server plugin who are having *
* large responses returned from the app server *
*                 with a content length set.                   *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The plugin was suffering performance *
* degradation when large responses were *
* being returned from the app server with *
*                      a content length set.                   *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
The plugin would buffer the full amount of content when a
content length was set and then call write once with the
big buffer. On Win32 this was a problem because when
Afpa was enabled that big buffer would have to be
allocated in the kernel memory.
Problem conclusion
When the plugin gets a large amount of content with the
content length set it will now read a max of 64K at one time
and then write the 64K. It will do this repeatedly until
all the content is written out.
