|||||||||||||||||||||||||
APAR status Closed as suggestion for future release. Error description After an application is uninstalled, some JAR files composing the application are not deleted from the WEB-INF/lib directory, disallowing new versions from be deployed (installed).Local fix (1) Extract the involved JARs in WEB-INF/lib to WEB-INF/classes and delete the JARs in WEB-INF/lib. This possibly will cause file conflicts if there are several JARs involved. (2) Move involved JARs (from WEB-INF/lib) to WAS_HOME/lib/app, this however has the disadvantage of scoping the JARs to the server rather than the application, which disallows using different versions of the JAR solution.Problem summary Problem conclusion Temporary fix Comments This problem is fixed in V5, but a temporary fix is available from the change team for v4.0.7.
