Error description Sec role assignment via wscp failsLocal fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All WSCP users of WebSphere Application * * Server 4.0 release. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Security role assignment via wscp * * fails. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** If there are some groups defined where one groupname is a substring of an other groupname (e.g. WCONTR1 and WCONTR10). In wscp, execute the following command: SecurityRoleAssignment addGroupRoleMapping /EnterpriseApp:ControllingEAR/ -grouproles { { Controlling WCONTR1 } } This is assigning group WCONTR10 instead of group WCONTR1.Problem conclusion Fixed code such that task now picks up the correct groupname. i-fix PQ83110_Fix.jar fixes this problem.Temporary fix debugRoleAssgnV1.jarComments
