Error description During AppServer startup, the following messages are received and startup fails: SessionContextRegistry: a problem occurred creating a session context. Check/Correct Session Manager configuration values and restart server. If problem persists contact service. -Failed to load the Session Context: java.lang.NullPointerExcept Failure occurs while 128th enterprise app is being loaded. Session Configuration WASENG 4.0Local fix Reduce number of enterprise apps defined under appserver below 128.Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server -- Session * * Manager Users * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Session Manager throws exceptions * * when more than 128 Web Modules are * * started in an AppServer. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The Session Manager had a bug preventing it from starting more than 128 Web Modules in an AppServer. After the 128th WebModule was started, the Session Manager would start throwing exceptions and the WebModules would not be initialized.Problem conclusion This has been fixed and the number of web modules that can be started can be more than 128.Temporary fix PQ69563Comments
