PQ80436: Performance degradation in servlet forward scenarios

APAR status
Closed as program error.

Error description
interim fix generated already to resolve the way we handle the
print writer. The fix is now using a flag to determine if
print writer has been closed. This allows code to avoid a
print writer flush, which was previously causing an I/O error,
but can now be avoided.

****************************************************************
Since V4.0.5, there is performance degradation in the servlet
forward function. The degradation is caused by excessive
IOExceptions when closed printWriters are being flushed.
Problem conclusion
The problem is fixed by checking if the printWriter is
closed or not. This will prevent the unnecessary flushing of
closed printWriters.
