SIGSEGV 11 error received in wscp if "?" or an "invalid command" is issued.

Problem
Within the WebSphere® Application Server wscp command shell, you should be able to type a "?" to get a list of commands. Also if you type an invalid command, you should see:
"invalid command name"

In the failing situation, the end user could type a valid wscp command and wscp would work properly, but if the user typed "?" or an invalid command the following error thrown:

wscp> ?
SIGSEGV 11 '(*) segmentation violation' in process 1668
Writing java dump to javacore1668.1040418273.txt ... OK
./wscp.sh: line 28: 1668 Segmentation fault
 
Cause
Code defect resolved in WebSphere Application Server V4.0.5.
 
Solution
Apply fix pack V4.0.5 or higher to resolve the problem.
Goto Recommended updates for the latest fix packs.
