After applying the latest cumulative SM fix (dated 02-07-2003),
to WebSphere Application Server 4.0 (4.0.2, 4.0.3, 4.0.4, or
4.0.5, the following exception is thrown over and over again and
appears in the tracefile:

Problem conclusion
Made the following changes to SeriousEventReaderBean.java:

Backed out an erroneous section of code introduced in an
earlier APAR and changed several places to correctly capture
and process the result set from various db functions.
Temporary fix
Fix is in cumulative system management fixes dated 01Apr03 or
later.
