Differences in the generated EJB deploy code between WebSphere Application Server 4.0.x and WebSphere Studio Application Developer
 Technote (FAQ)

Problem
Sometimes the EJB™ deploy code generated within WebSphere® Studio Application Developer causes problems, and the code must be regenerated while installing an application within WebSphere Application Server. Why is the generated code different?

Solution
If the code generated by WebSphere Studio Application Developer is different than the code generated by WebSphere Application Server, it is because the WebSphere Test Environment within WebSphere Studio Application Developer (which is WebSphere Application Server, Single Server Edition) is at a different level than WebSphere Application Server AE.

For example, if WebSphere Studio Application Developer 4.0.3 is used, the Test Environment is at the 4.0.2 level. To upgrade it to the 4.0.3 level, download the WebSphere Single Server Edition Fix Pack 3 from the WebSphere support Web site. The instructions are located in technote #1066518, which is also available at the support site.

When the WebSphere Test Environment within WebSphere Studio Application Developer and the WebSphere Application Server AE are at the same level, the generated EJB deploy code is the same.
