PQ81272: Port 9080 disappears on WebSphere Application Server 4.0.0



APAR status
Closed as program error.

Error description
Port 9080 is terminated by WebSphere upon receipt of socket
error.  Logic terminates and does not retry.  Logic to retry was
introduced in 4.0.1
Local fix
Retry logic from WebSphere 4.0.1 was copied into WebSphere
4.0.0.  Customer is currently on his 3rd week without a hang.

The HttpTransport exits when a socket accept failure is
encountered.
Problem conclusion
Redesigned the code to behave more like WebSphere 4.0.1 and
increase the MaxConnectBacklog value to 511.
