APAR status Closed as program error. Error description When I use the Admin Console I cannot change the name of the session cookie. As required by Sun's servlet 2.2 spec. the cookie name is set to JSESSIONID.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of XMLConfig for WebSphere * * Application Server 4.0.2 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: XMLConfig should not allow Session * * cookie name to be changed. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Currently XMLConfig allows one to change the name of session cookie, but instead it should always be set to "JSESSIONID"Problem conclusion Fixed code in SessionManagerConfigConfig.java file.Temporary fix Comments
