APAR status Closed as program error. Error description AEs gets 500 error after the following proceedure. For defined servlet such as the hello servlet, the servletclass is renamed or removed. Now serving servlet gives an expected 500. After moving the servlet class to defined location the servlet still gives a 500 error.Local fix Restartig Enterprise Application or Web Module will make the servlet available again after it moved or renamed to the defined locationProblem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server 4.0.1 AE/AES * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Registered Servlet Class Files when * * renamed and named back to original * * name not served and throws error 500 * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The Registered Servlet are served and when we rename the class file and when served throws error 500 but when renamed to original name again it throws error 500, which is not right.Problem conclusion The problem has been fixed and tested to ensure it is working.Temporary fix PQ52451_Test_AEsServer_AEServer.jarComments
