APAR status Closed as suggestion for future release. Error description When a customer chooses to install two WebSphere domains on Windows, one server by IHS and the other by IIS, the IIS registry gets overwritten even when IIS is not chosen on the second install. . The registry must be updated manually: . Add the variable Plugin Config to the registry under the path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> IBM -> WebSphere Application Server -> 4.0. Set the value for this variable to the location of the plugin-cfg.xml file.Local fix Manual regedit required.Problem summary Problem conclusion Temporary fix Comments This is not a defect in WebSphere Application Server. It is part of the steps that are needed to configure a system to work with co-existence. When installing a new instance of WAS 4.0 on a machine that already has an existing installation of WebSphere 4.0, the registry folder will be updated with the new 4.0 installation info.
