Cause
Malformed Oracle database URL in resources.xml

Solution
Review the resources.xml and check the URL of the database from which the data source obtains connections to make sure all colons are in place, and that there are no typos.

Here are examples of properly formed Oracle database URLs:

  • Oracle THIN driver:

    jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:sample

  • Oracle THICK driver:

    jdbc:oracle:oci8:@sample
