PQ55602: PLUGIN IS MISPARSING JSESSION COOKIE INFO WHEN THE COOKIE IS NOTAT THE END OF THE STRING.

APAR status
Closed as program error.

Error description
Problem with jsession cookie and the interpretation of the
contents.
If the cookie is at the end of the string then everything is
fine, but if there is another cookie included in the string
after the jsession cookie then the value of that cookie is also
used in the jsession value, resulting in WAS not being able to
find the correct clone, therefore generating a new session ID.
This happens with either Apache or IHS.
This fix is required for session affinity to work properly
if you have server groups and clones on WAS 4.0.1.
Local fix
Remove other cookies from site.
Problem summary
****************************************************************
* USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server 4.0 users who *
* utilize the Session Affinity functionality *
* in the plugin. Users who have multiple *
* cookies set in addition to the JSESSIONID *
* cookie will experience undesired results. *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When multilple cookies are present in *
* the request the plugin will fail to *
* parse the JSESSIONID cookie correctly *
* which causes session affinity not to *
*                      work.                                   *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
The plugin incorrectly parsed the clone ids from the Cookie
header when multiple cookies are present for a request. The
result was that session affinity will fail since the plugin
attempts to match invalid clone ids.
Problem conclusion
The plugin will now correctly parse the clone ids when
multiple cookies are present. As a result, session affinity
will work as desired.
