Error description When attempting to use a non-MQSeries JMS provider within a global transaction with another resource enlisted the transaction will be rolledback.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server users of a * * Generic JMS provider that supports 2 phase * * XA tansactions, that want to partake in * * WebSphere global transactions. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Generic JMS Provider does not * * support 2 phase capable providers * * in a WebSphere global transaction. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** A Generic JMS binder utility is required to bind WebSphere wrapped indirect JNDI references into a namespace. The wrapped resource allows WebSphere 2 phase transaction support for the indirect JMS JNDI looked up resource.Problem conclusion Generic JMS binder utility provided, and JMS runtime support added for Generic XA JMS resources and their recovery.Temporary fix Fix tested.Comments
