![]() APAR status Closed as program error. Error description If a classpath is in the jvm properties and you try to remove the classpath with a xml import the entry is not removed from the database. Using xml imports you can change the classpath to other but cannot remove it from the database.Local fix Problem summary **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of XMLConfig for WebSphere * * Application Server 4.0.4 and earlier. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: XMLConfig will not remove the JVM * * properties from the repository. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** XMLConfig doesn't remove the jvm properties such as system-properties, classpaths. As such there is no "remove" action associated with these elements.Problem conclusion Specifing empty tags like (<system-properties/>, <classpaths/>) will completely remove the entries and if you don't specify these tags then its last updated values will be retained. Fixed code in JVMConfigConfig.java file.Temporary fix PQ65641_eFix.jarComments
