Problem |
In some instances, you observe that the absolute path for
the WebSphere® Domino® R5 plug-in, specified during a WebSphere
Application Server v4 installation, is copied in the address book for this
Domino Server and in every server connection document under the same
domain in the Domino administration area. This behavior is also observed
when installing fix packs for WebSphere Application Server |
|
Cause |
You observe that the presence of the plug-in information
in these server connection documents can generate warnings on the Domino
servers that do not contain the WebSphere DSAPI filter located in the path
that is specified. |
|
Solution |
As a workaround, before installing WebSphere
Application Server v4 or a fix pack, do the following:
Note: Follow standard best practices by backing up the WebSphere
and Domino products before installing WebSphere Application Server.
- Shut down the Domino server.
- Temporarily rename the server address book file, typically
names.nsf, to a different name.
- Install WebSphere Application Server v4.
- Rename the server address book file back to names.nsf.
- Restart the Domino server.
