ERROR DESCRIPTION:

J2EE projects created using WebSphereŽ Application Server Toolkit (AST) v6.1 on a
system that is configured with a non-English locale will lose its project type upon
restarting the product.

USERS AFFECTED:

All users of WebSphere Application Server Toolkit on a system with a non-English
locale.

PROBLEM CONCLUSION: 

With this fix users of WebSphere Application Server Toolkit on a system with a
non-English locale will be able to create and utilize J2EE projects.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 6.1.0.1.

Installation Instructions:

1) Ensure that AST is not running.
2) Navigate to the <AST Install Directory>\eclipse\plugins\ directory.
3) Locate the file org.eclipse.wst.common.project.facet.core_1.0.1.v200603242204.jar.
4) Either rename this file so that it does not have a JAR extension or move this file to a different location.
5) Extract the file PK27580.zip to the <AST Install Directory>\eclipse\plugins\ directory.
6) Restart AST.
