IBM WebSphere Extended Deployment, Version 5.1 Cumulative Fix 2

This fix pack contains several fixes for problems found on WebSphereŽ Extended Deployment v5.1 and v5.1.0.1.

Install the Cumulative Fix 2 for the appropriate platform on top of WebSphere Extended Deployment v5.1 or v5.1.0.1.

For a GUI install:
Unzip the zip file starting with updiXXXX.zip at $WAS_HOME  "WebSphere Install directory"
This will create updateinstaller and some sub directories at Install_Root

Then copy the *.pak file    i.e.  xd51_fp2_****.pak file into 
Install_Root/updateinstaller/maintenance directory

To install the service pack, change directory to Install_Root/updateinstaller
Run ../bin/setupCmdLine.bat  or (.sh)
Run ./update.exe to run the service pack install

The above steps will display the GUI wizard to install the service pack.

For silent install:
run ./update.exe -silent
