Abstract:  The translated messages for the Spanish and Brazilian Portugese languages are
corrupted.

Symptoms of problem: 

On the AdminGUI some of the characters would appear incorrectly when the AdminGUI was launched
in the Spanish or Brazilian loacles.
 


Directions to apply efix:

1) Create "efix" directory to store the efix jar file(s):
   AIX: /usr/WebSphere/AppServer/efix
   Solaris/Linux: /opt/WebSphere/AppServer/efix
   Windows: c:\WebSphere\AppServer\efix

2) Copy PQ62219.jar to the directory

3) Add the directory/jar file to the beginning of the admin client's classpath
   in the adminclient.bat  file. This is how the adminclient.bat file should be changed :

   set WAS_CP=%WAS_HOME%\lib\ibmwebas.jar                                
   set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME% properties                             

   to:                                                                     

   set WAS_CP=Efix Directory\PQ62219.jar                                     
   set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\lib\ibmwebas.jar                       
   set WAS_CP=%WAS_CP%;%WAS_HOME%\properties                             

4) Stop and restart the AdminGUI.
