Abstract: 
The Object Level Trace and Debugger tools cannot trace an application running 
a native C++ client and calling enterprise beans hosted by a WebSphere server.


Description/symptom of problem: 
The OLT/DD tools have a problem tracing properly when customer installs 
the WebSphere EEX driver, and running the native C++ client against EJB 
objects hosted by WebSphere AE. This e-fix replaces the OLT runtime jar
to handle this.



Directions to apply eFix:

1) Create temporary "eFix" directory to store the jar file:
   AIX/Solaris/Linux: /tmp/WebSphere/eFix
             Windows: c:\temp\WebSphere\eFix

2) Copy PQ51494_eFix_AEServer.jar file to the directory

3) Shutdown WebSphere

4) Copy the download jar file to WebSphere lib directory with following 
   commands:
	java -jar java -jar <jarfile name> -TargetDir <your WAS_HOME directory, e.g. c:\WebSphere\AppServer for example>

5) Restart WebSphere

6) The temp directory may be removed but the zip/tar file should be saved.  Do not remove 
   any files created and stored in the <WASHOME>/WebSphere/AppServer/eFix/<eFix> directories.
   These files are required if an eFix is to be removed.
