Description/symptom of problem: 1) Symptom: -------- If you use multi-part custom faults and try to access the parts in the message using specific getters and setters on the generated exception that is thrown by the specific methods on the generated session bean facade you may get class a NullpointerException. 2) Problem: -------- The base class of the generated exceptions catches a class cast exception and returns null in the case where it cannot access the parts in the message. 3) Solution: --------- This interim fix removes that class cast exception, so that the parts can be accessed.
