Description/symptom of problem: 1) Symptom: -------- When publishing a business process within the universal test environment that references many files this can take a significant amount of time. For customers this can look like the program hangs. 2) Problem: -------- Most of the time used for publishing the business process is used for locating files within the projects of the workspace. There will be used a 'depth first' algorithm for locating files which is not the best solution for this situation. 3) Solution: --------- By changing the algorithm from 'depth first' to 'breadth first' has shown significant enhancement for publishing the business process.
