Fix (APAR): PQ78548 Status: Fix Release: 5.0.2 Operating System: HP-UX Supersedes Fixes: CMVC Defect: PQ78548 Byte size of APAR: 5739 Date: 2004-04-02 Abstract: Data Replication causes core dump on HP Description/symptom of problem: When customer sets up the clusters and put replication on the domain, it uses libNBIO.sl which in turn is looking for a symbol in dld.sl that is not found and gives an unresolved symbol. Thus producing the core dump. This system does not crash if replication is not turned on. The Fix Installer can be downloaded from the following link: http://www-3.ibm.com/software/webservers/appserv/support/index.html 1) Create temporary "fix" directory to store the jar file: UNIX: /tmp/WebSphere/fix Windows: c:\temp\WebSphere\fix 2) Copy jar file to the directory 3) Shutdown WebSphere 4) Follow the Fix installation instructions that are packaged with the Fix Installer on how to install the Fix. 5) Restart WebSphere 6) The temp directory may be removed.
