Fix (APAR): PQ76479 Status: Fix Release: 1.3.26,1.3.19.4,1.3.19.3,1.3.19.2,1.3.19.1,1.3.19 Operating System: Windows (General),SunOS/Solaris,Linux Intel,HP-UX,AIX Supersedes Fixes: PQ71637 CMVC Defect: PQ76479 Byte size of APAR: 51080227 Date: 2003-08-12 Abstract: Error trying to receive a certificate with gsk5cmd Description/symptom of problem: gsk5cmd -cert -receive fails with "format Invalid imput in field {0}" This same command works with Gskit versions prior to 5.0.5.70. Directions to apply fix: Directions to apply fix: 1) Stop the IBM HTTP Server and the Administration Server if running. 2) Uncompress/untar/unzip the fix file into a temporary directory. FOR UNIX PLATFORMS: 3) Use the standard OS install utility to install the new Gskit version. There should be no need to remove the existing version. 4) Restart the IBM HTTP Server and/or Administration server as desired. FOR WINDOWS: 3) Install the new version of GSKIT by executing the following command from the temporary directory and following the installation panels: For IHS 1.3.19.x "setup HTTPServerSSL_1.3.19.n" For IHS 1.3.26 "setup IHS1.3.26.n" For IHS 2.0.42 "setup IHS2.0.42.n" (where 'n' indicates your installed IHS version e.g. 1.3.19.5) The installation process will prompt you for a destination directory in which to place the GSKIT files. Accept the default. The install program will detect the existing Gskit and will locate and update the currently installed files. 4) Restart the IBM HTTP Server and/or Administration server as desired. Directions to remove fix: There is no way to back out this fix. To restore the Gskit to a prior version will require uninstalling the Gskit 5.0.5.82 and then reinstalling the Gskit from the prior install image.
