Fix (APAR): PK65895 Status: Fix Release: 6.1 Operating System: AIX,i5/OS,Linux,Linux zSeries,Solaris,Windows Supersedes Fixes: CMVC Defect: PK65895 Byte size of APAR: 12560 Date: 2008-06-20 Abstract: The -listProfiles option of manageprofiles does not list the profiles in a Turkish locale Description/symptom of problem: PK65895 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION: A profile is created successfully when the locale is Turkish but when listProfiles is done the newly created profile does not show up. The problem is originally reported by the WebSphere Portal development team. As part of their install process a profile is created but when doing restoreconfig it fails with msg saying that the profile can not be found. LOCAL FIX: none PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application Server V6.1 PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The -listProfiles option of manageprofiles does not list the profiles in a Turkish locale RECOMMENDATION: None After obtaining the 'os.name' property from the system properties. It was not converted to lower case using the correct encoding. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: The property is now converted correctly. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 6.1.0.19.
