LOCAL FIX: Restart the messaging engine. PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: Users of the default messaging provider for WebSphere Application Server V6 PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If a connection to a messaging engine from a client JMS application is closed while messages are being consumed by that application, it is possible for the messaging engine to enter a deadlock that prevents further connections from being established. RECOMMENDATION: None This issue is very timing sensitive. If this issue occurs, a thread dump of the application server will show two threads in the following methods: * com/ibm/ws/sib/comms/server/clientsupport/ ServerTransportAcceptListener.getActiveConversations() * com/ibm/ws/sib/processor/impl/JSLocalConsumerPoint.close() PROBLEM CONCLUSION: This APAR resolves the issue.
