Description/symptom of problem: PK41770 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION: If you change the location of the log files from the default location for your WebSphere Application Server profile, the IBM HTTP Server for i5/OS Web Admin GUI may not display the correct location. LOCAL FIX: PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: Users of the IBM HTTP Server for i5/OS Web Administrative GUI interfacing with WebSphere Application Server Version 6.0.2.17 PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If your log files location is changed from the default location, the IBM HTTP Server for i5/OS Web Administrative GUI may not display the correct location. RECOMMENDATION: None If log files location is changed from the default location for your WebSphere Application Server profile, the IBM HTTP Server for i5/OS Web Administrative GUI may not display the correct location. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: After installing the iFix PK41770, restart the IBM HTTP Administrative Server for i5/OS. The correct location of log files will now be displayed. Directions to apply fix: NOTE: YOU MUST FIRST DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE INSTALLER TOOL IN ORDER TO INSTALL A FIX. If it is not already installed, the Fix Installer can be downloaded from the following link: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg24008401 Please select the OS400 version of the installer. Extract the contents of the downloaded zip file to /QIBM/ProdData/WebSphere/AppServer/V6//updateinstaller, where is either Base or ND. 1) Download the 6.0.2.17-WS-WAS-IFPK41770.pak file to: install_root/updateinstaller/maintenance directory. Tip: Do not attempt to unzip or unpack the *.pak file. 2) Shutdown WebSphere. DO NOT REMOVE A FIX UNLESS ALL FIXES APPLIED AFTER IT HAVE FIRST BEEN REMOVED. YOU MAY REAPPLY ANY REMOVED FIX. Example: If your system has fix1, fix2, and fix3 applied in that order and fix2 is to be removed, fix3 must be removed first, fix2 removed, and fix3 re-applied. 1) Shutdown WebSphere.
