Description/symptom of problem: PK18815 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION: This is not the situation where a thread exists after the service() call java.lang.NullPointerException com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.srt.SRTServletRequest. aggregateQueryStringParams(SRTServletRequest.java(CompiledCode)) com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.webapp.WebAppRequestDispatcher.include (WebAppRequestDispatcher.java(Compiled Code)) LOCAL FIX: none PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: Users of WebSphere Application Server version 6 who use Request Object's Clone API. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The Clone Implementation of Request Object was not complete & hence resulted in different Exception Conditions. RECOMMENDATION: None When you use Request object's Clone API(for doing tasks like parallel threading), you may encounter exceptions like NullPointerException & ConcurrentModificationExceptions on the request object since the depth of the Clone of the request object was not sufficient to Isolate the Original-Cloned request and associated objects. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: Code changes were done to make sure that the Isolation of original and Cloned request Objects is made to solve the problem. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fixpack 6.0.2.9.
