Fix (APAR): PK11829 Status: Fix Release: 6.0.2.4,6.0.2.3,6.0.2.2,6.0.2.1,6.0.2 Operating System: AIX,HP-UX,Linux,Linux Red Hat - pSeries,Linux zSeries,OS/390,OS/400,Solaris,Windows,z/OS Supersedes Fixes: CMVC Defect: PK11829 Byte size of APAR: 10199 Date: 2006-01-10 Abstract: Variable not found when using wsadmin ant task. Description/symptom of problem: PK11829 resolves the following problem: ERROR DESCRIPTION: The profile's setupCmdLine.bat contains an entry "REM SET ITP_LOC=....".So, ITP_LOC is not set in this setupCmdLine script, since the command to assign ITP_LOC is commented out. However, several lines below that, we see that when setupCmdLine.bat issues the command "SET WAS_EXT_DIRS=...", the value assigned to WAS_EXT_DIRS attempts to resolve ITP_LOC. Is it by design that the profile setupCmdLine attempts to resolve ITP_LOC when that value is not defined in the profile setupCmdLine? If this is by design, then what procedure is intended to be used to set up the environment with ITP_LOC defined? LOCAL FIX: The temporary fix was to remove the REM before SET ITP_LOC. PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Application Server ws_ant script and wsadmin ant task users. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Variable not found when using wsadmin ant task. RECOMMENDATION: None variable not found when using wsadmin ant task because the algorithm was not correct. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: The algorithm has been updated to resolve this issue. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fixpack 6.0.2.5.
