This could happen in the event that the server acting as the transaction coordinator crashes while the subordinate transaction on the participant server is in-doubt. LOCAL FIX: PROBLEM SUMMARY USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty Profile - using Web Services Atomic Transaction PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: WS-AtomicTransaction participant recovery after a server crash may never complete RECOMMENDATION: None This could happen in the event that the server acting as the transaction coordinator crashes while the subordinate transaction on the participant server is in-doubt. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: The code has been modified to fix this scenario. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.10.
